AMAZING halal breakfast served here, I've been struggling to find a good breakfast and I'm glad I stumbled upon this shop for just £10!! You get an amazing fresh halal breakfast that alone is worth it but they also give you a free tea/coffee/water with your breakfast. Highly recommend will be back very soon In Sha Allah. Thank you!

One of the few places I visit when I come to this area. The staff are really great, definitely know what customer service is! The food is great and when they forgot an order, they offered one free on the house, to make mends as I was leaving. To me, that shows this is a genuine business looking after long term loyalty and that they have with me now, as I will be back next time I am here for a meeting.

I have passed this establishment many times without going in. My curiousity finally got the better of me. Many of the businesses on Whitechapel Road, Whitechapel, East London are owned by people of South Asian descent. Most of the food sold in the area reflects this.
Patisserie East sells a variety of both European food and South Asian food. What is clearly noticeable is their focus on quality. The food tastes very very good, some of which are very spicy and some of which are not. Tip: enquire before hand. What is especially good to note is that they sell/serve loose tea, in particular excellent green and Turkish teas. Good with apple or cherry pie!
The service provided from the staff is excellent, who are happy to help where necessary. Patisserie East has become my favourite place to have lunch/tea in Whitechapel. Today there were French tourists claiming that their food was excellent, but simply more spicy than what they are used to.
Useful Tip: They serve an excellent beef lasagna.

Came here as a couple first thing in the morning for breakfast, service was a little slow, however food tasted good and was filling. Hot drinks were brought before the food and was finished by the time the food, would’ve liked to have the drinks after meal. Overall decor was calming and service was good.
One of the underrated gems in Whitechapel is this cafe that offers quality, delicious, freshly cooked food. The staff here are incredibly accommodating and their superb service makes them stand out among other cafes in the area. Their friendly behaviour is unmatched in Whitechapel.

Patisserie East is one of the best places in Whitechapel. The staff are always polite and welcoming, which really makes a difference. Their chicken tikka panini is a must try; packed with flavour and always fresh. It’s the perfect spot for a quick bite or a chilled catch up. Everything is Halal, and the overall vibe is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re in the area

Delicious wraps enticed us back for breakfast the following day. Wide choice of Asian and British (including pork) dishes at a great value. The asian breakfast made for a tasty change from the usual we'd have on a trip. Very friendly staff as well.

Lovely friendly service despite me arriving 30 seconds after they opened. Nice wee selection of croissants etc, and good amount of baklava. Flat white was well made with good coffee.

Went for the Friday special lunch menu, beef biryani with chicken roast was really good. It tasted really good, with a good portion size. Service was good from Azad. Will visit again.

I absolutely loved this place. From main meals to desserts and drinks. Definitely recommend the biscoff cheesecake it was just perfect. The service was beyond standards. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much Sabbar and Mahmud for the excellent service and overall experience.
My friend and I visited Patisserie East for brunch. We both ordered the Small English from their menu. It was decent sized portions and everything on the plate tasted delicious! The prices are also reasonable, very good value for money. The restaurant is clean and staff are really friendly. Overall, food and customer service was excellent. Would recommend and definitely visit again in the future.
